Earlier in his address, Trump described the US Constitution as “the most righteous political document ever conceived.” He went on to cite what he described as the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution, saying: “Unlike so many others in the world, in this country we have freedom of speech, freedom of religion, equal justice under the law,” before adding, “Although I wasn’t treated that well, but we won’t get into that,” in an apparent reference to his legal challenges.
