In less than 24 hours, Diljit Dosanjh’s Jaswant Singh Khalra biopic, titled Satluj, was pulled down from ZEE5. The film, stuck in a CBFC certification issue, dropped on the streaming platform quietly on July 3. The controversial movie was restricted for three years, and the censor board demanded over 120 cuts. The makers refused, and the film found a home at ZEE5. However, Satluj was banned in India due to undisclosed reasons. Diljit, who plays the lead role, had predicted this some time back, but he was assured that the audience would have downloaded the film on their phones and laptops.
