Anthropologists and linguists agree that the names Hind, Hindus, Indo and Indus are inseparable. From the sculptures of Persian soldiers, we get the term Hidus and Hindus, which became Indus in Greek. Hindu identity in the Indus Valley has evolved from a blend of Vedic traditions and socioeconomic patterns. Therefore, anyone associating with the Indus civilization, regardless of religion or linguistic identity, should be referred to as a Hindu.
