nothing phone 4b rcb edition teased officially ahead of july 7 launch: here's what to expect

Nothing’s next smartphone launch is now just days away, but the London-based tech giant has already started building excitement around a special variant of the device. Ahead of the July 7 global launch of the Nothing Phone 4b, the Carl Pei-led brand has officially teased a Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Edition of the handset through a collaboration with the IPL champions. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition, including its expected design, specifications, launch details and more.

Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition: What Can We Expect?

The collaboration doesn’t come as a surprise. Nothing partnered with Royal Challengers Bengaluru during the latest IPL season, where the franchise lifted its second consecutive title.

The first official teaser comes through a collaborative Instagram reel posted by Nothing India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In the video, RCB stars Krunal Pandya, Tim David and Romario Shepherd are seen discussing the design of the upcoming phone, subtly hinting at what’s in store.

Although the London-based smartphone maker has stopped short of revealing the complete design, the teaser suggests the phone could feature an RCB logo on the rear panel along with a striking matte red finish. Compared to the standard Phone 4b, which is expected to be offered in Black, Blue and White colours, this edition is likely to stand out with an exclusive look.

We can also expect RCB-themed wallpapers, custom packaging, exclusive accessories and a red, black and gold design language inspired by the franchise. However, these additions haven’t been officially confirmed yet.

Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition Specifications And Launch Details (Expected)

The RCB Edition is expected to retain the same hardware as the regular Nothing Phone 4b. The UK-tech giant has already confirmed that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon processor, while multiple leaks suggest it could have a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset.

Other rumoured specifications include up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP64 dust and splash resistance and a 6000 battery with 33W fast charging.

Nothing is scheduled to launch the Phone 4b globally, including in India, on July 7 at 3:30 PM IST. While the company has not revealed official pricing yet, both the standard model and the RCB Edition are likely to be priced below Rs 30,000 in the Indian market.
