“Hissedari barabar ki honi chahiye aur woh barabar ki hogi,” Gautam said, arguing that regional parties should realise that Congress, being a national party, is best placed to take on the BJP. He also remarked that “chote-mote logon ke bayanon se farq nahi padne wala hai” while responding to criticism from Samajwadi Party leaders.
