Evacuation shelters have been opened at the Pueblo County Recreation Center, 1650 Cooper Place, where pets are accepted, and at the Wetmore Community Center. A large animal shelter has been established at the Colorado State Fairgrounds. Officials are also accepting donations for emergency crews, including bottled water, shelf-stable food, pet food, diapers, formula, hay, and livestock feed.
