US District Judge Indira Talwani, based in Massachusetts, issued the order halting the administration from carrying out the parts of Trump’s directive that called for federal agencies to compile lists of citizens confirmed eligible to vote. The blocked sections also included instructions directing the Postmaster General to draft a rule preventing USPS from delivering ballots for anyone not included on their state’s voter list.
