From Delhi To Lucknow, June Fires Kill Over 40

Nationally, fire accidents claim approximately 35 lives every single day, according to data. Between 13,000 and 15,000 people die in fire-related incidents across India annually, as per NCRB figures. Over 40 per cent of fire deaths occur in markets, factories, and commercial establishments. Nearly 70 per cent of urban commercial fires are caused by faulty wiring, short circuits, or overloaded electrical systems. More than 60 per cent of small and medium commercial buildings lack valid fire NOCs or adequate safety equipment.
