Iskandar goes on to describe how fire, carries the most ‘Yang’ among the five elements, as per Chinese metaphysics. Surprisingly, sunlight, and not literal fire itself, is the Yang manifestation of the element. And interestingly the Horse (again a reference to the Fire Horse year) is a Yang Fire sign element – the most active of the 12 signs in Chinese astrology. “This makes the Fire Horse year (2026), with double Yang Fire, the most active, most Yang year in a 60-year cycle, with Fire element at its peak. And solstice this year is the pinnacle of the peak,” explains Iskandar.
