Just three days to go for the re-examination of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), known as NEET-UG, that is scheduled for Sunday, 21 June 2026. The examination was held earlier on 3 May 2026 and was eventually scrapped after reports of alleged paper leaks and irregularities. Nearly 2.28 million candidates had written the exam across 5,000 centres. In its wake, the exam leak has left anger and a trail of deaths, as some students died by suicide in despair. According to reports, at least 10 students who were preparing for the exam have died by suicide.
