NEET UG was originally conducted on May 3, but was cancelled and a retest was announced after NTA received reports of paper leak. Since the security of the exam had been compromised the first time, NTA has now deployed 674 city coordinators who will be overseeing city-level operations, and 6,669 observers who will be responsible for independent oversight at examination centres. Centre Superintendents and invigilators have also been deployed at every examination centre, along with District Administrations, Police Forces and Escort Teams, particularly for the secure transportation of confidential materials.
