Residents of Gaur City 2 in Greater Noida, who were using online platforms to book house help or instant help- found their booking requests getting cancelled after workers reportedly decided to stand up for a fellow house help. Reportedly, a domestic worker was allegedly assaulted in the Gaur City 2 residential complex in Uttar Pradesh, the news of which was quick to upset many instant help app workers, which soon resulted in a protest. The incident reportedly took place at the 11th Avenue apartment building, where a worker was assaulted while she was on duty.
