Speaking on Monday after arriving in France for the G7 summit, US President Donald Trump said that a memorandum of understanding designed to end the war had already been signed by both countries. Trump also claimed that the Strait of Hormuz, which has faced a three-month blockade that disrupted global oil supplies and rattled international markets, was already “partially opened.”
