The Iranian football team has issued a threat to FIFA over the 2026 FIFA World Cup and threatened to stop their matches if they have to face unauthorized flags or slogans at the stadium during their matches. The announcement was made by Sports Minister Ahmad Donyamal on the eve of the tournament opener, which will take place from June 11 to July 19 in the United States of America (USA), Mexico, and Canada.
