Toyota India has updated its long-standing MPV, the Crysta, for 2026. The changes are restricted to the exterior, as the popular people mover continues to soldier on its diesel powertrain. Ever since its launch in 2016, the Crysta has been a preferred option for large Indian families as well as fleet operators. Despite the arrival of the more modern Innova Hycross with a hybrid powertrain and monocoque platform, it remains a rugged choice in the 7- and 8-seater segment owing to its perfect combination of comfort, practicality and long-distance comfort. What’s New On The Toyota Innova Crysta?
The changes to the 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta are purely cosmetic. The new radiator grille now gets a thick chrome surround. There’s also a new central black appliqué housing the number plate section. Both front and rear bumpers have also been updated. Overall, the muscular and rugged is still there, but small yet noticeable design changes have modernised the ageing design language of the MPV.
The interior maintains the same layout, albeit with a few noticeable tweaks. The premium quotient has been enhanced with the dashboard and key touchpoints now featuring Grace Copper accents across the steering wheel, centre console, dashboard, and door trims. The seat upholstery has received a dual-tone finish, and there is revised detailing around the AC controls. Other highlights include a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) exclusive to the ZX variant, and a wireless charging pad for VX and ZX trims.

That said, the MPV continues with the 2.4-litre diesel engine that churns out a maximum power of 148bhp and a peak torque of 343Nm. For transmission, it comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox that transmits power to the rear wheels.
2026 Toyota Innova Crysta Price
The 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta is priced from Rs 19.72 lakh (ex-showroom) for the GX 7-seater variant, both standard and Fleet option. The GX+, VX, and ZX trims are positioned higher, with prices reaching up to Rs 26.63 lakh for the top-spec ZX variant.
