Varun Dhawan-starrer Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is scheduled to be released on June 5, 2026, in theatres. Ahead of its release, the Central Board of Film Certification, aka CBFC, has passed the film with a U/A certificate. It means the audience who is 16 and above can watch the film in theatres. While providing a certificate to the David Dhawan film, the censor board’s examining committee (EC) has asked for some changes that include condom brand names, vulgar hand gestures and so on. The makers agreed to make the changes, and after that, the Censor Board handed over the censor certificate to the film on May 27.
