Toyota maintained its healthy performance in the month of May 2026. It sold 30,574 units in the domestic market, compared to last year’s 29,280 units, which resulted in a rise of 4%. Exports emerged as the star performer and helped the automaker to attain a year-on-year growth of a massive 61%. For reference, Toyota shipped 2,554 units in May 2026, compared to 1,584 units in the previous year at the same time. When taking into account total sales, Toyota’s growth climbed 7% to 33,128 units from 30,864 units sold in May of last year.
