The untimely demise of Bengali filmmaker Anik Dutta has sent shockwaves across the country. The celebrated director, known for films like Bhooter Bhabishyat, Ashchorjyo Prodeep, Meghnad Badh Rahasya, Aparajito and more, passed away on Wednesday (May 27) after allegedly falling from the terrace of his Kolkata home. He was 67. The fatal fall of the Borunbabur Bondhu director has raised suspicions surrounding his death. West Bengal leader Suvendu Adhikari has said that he trusts Kolkata Police to investigate the case and “unearth the mysterious circumstances” behind the incident.
