A source close to the film told India Today that, given the love and response that Bhooth Bangla has received from families, the makers are definitely looking into taking the franchise forward. “It’s an exciting space, and thus a sequel looks very much on the cards,” a source close shared. While talks with Priyadarshan are in their early stages, producer Ekta Kapoor is keen on the horror-comedy space, and would love to revisit with more stories, the source added. Bhooth Bangla ends with a cliffhanger.
