Hero MotoCorp has launched the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 in India, priced at Rs 86,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the drum brake variant. The disc brake variant is priced at Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom). The update brings a revised claimed fuel efficiency of 72 kmpl — up from 68 kmpl on the outgoing model — along with hazard lights and cosmetic changes. The engine and core hardware remain unchanged. The bike sits on Hero’s shared 125cc platform, which also underpins the Glamour, Glamour X and Xtreme 125R.
