In a case similar to Bhopal’s Twisha, a fresh dowry harassment allegation has surfaced from Jaipur, where 40 days after the death of Anu Meena, her family has accused her in-laws of subjecting her to harassment and demanding dowry. The woman died by suicide on April 7. The family of the woman has lodged a complaint against their daughter’s husband, Gautam Meena, as well, on charges related to the incident. However, the accused family is currently reported to be absconding.
