Petrol and diesel prices were hiked again on Saturday, marking the third increase in fuel rates within 10 days. Petrol prices rose by 87 paise per litre, while diesel became costlier by 91 paise. Following the latest revision, petrol in Delhi is now priced at Rs 99.51 per litre, while diesel costs Rs 92.49 per litre. This is the third fuel price hike since May 15, when state-run oil marketing companies began gradually passing on the impact of rising global energy prices triggered by the Middle East conflict.
