Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is one of those motorcycles that almost everybody in India knows, even if they have never ridden one. The current-generation model may look familiar from a distance, but underneath, it is very different from the older Bullets many people grew up seeing. It now uses Royal Enfield’s newer 349cc J-series engine, the same basic platform that also underpins the Classic 350 and Hunter 350. Prices start from Rs 1.64 lakh and go up to Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom), and while there are faster motorcycles in this price range, the Bullet continues to attract buyers who simply want a comfortable, easy-going machine for everyday riding.
