Lucknow: A man in UP killed his minor daughter, dismembered the body and threw the severed head into a pond in Kushinagar while stuffed the torso inside a box and placed the other body parts in a separate bag. On May 17, the GRP police recovered a tin box at the Gomti Nagar railway station in Lucknow, the box contained the torso of the victim and her hands and legs were recovered from a bag placed above the box. The police lodged an FIR under the relevant sections and sent the body for the post-mortem and began their investigation.
