Directed by Vignesh Raja, Kara is a suspenseful, action-thriller starring Dhanush. Released on April 30, Kara is set in the 1990s of Ramanathapuram during the Gulf War, Karasamy (Dhanush) faces his past while protecting his close ones. He reframes himself as a thief after financial losses. The film also stars Mamitha Baiju, K.S. Ravikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jayaram and other supporting actors. G.V Prakash Kumar is associated with the film as the music composer.
