“The previous government, which the public completely rejected, gave a massive mandate to the BJP. That government was characterised solely by appeasement politics, institutional corruption, atrocities against women, and a complete dismantling of governance; furthermore, they even went so far as to challenge the very Constitution of the country,” Adhikari said during a press briefing.
