There’s a simplicity to his life that feels almost radical today. He loves writing, chess, enjoys sports and values time with his family. Social media, the biggest distraction for most teenagers today, doesn’t feature in his world. “I don’t have a phone. If I need to call, I use my parents’ phone.” There is no drama, no sense of missing out, just plain clarity. He says the environment around him at Mayoor School, Noida helped his steady approach to learning. Looking at him with pride, his school principal, Alka Awasthi, shared something deeper than discipline. “What makes him stand out is gratitude. It’s rare. Many children have so much but don’t feel it. He does. He’s grounded and his results reflect that,” she says.
