Kerala Open 2026: Chintan, Nilesh Seal 100+ Doubles Title over Firos, Daniel

Chintan Sheth and Nilesh Desai won the 100+ Combined Age Doubles title at the Kerala Open 2026 on Sunday with a straight-games victory over Firos Therath and Daniel David. They secured the final 11-2, 11-7, showing control across both sets. The winning pair started strongly and took an early lead in the first set. Their coordination at the net and consistent returns from the baseline put pressure on Firos and Daniel.

The first set was one-sided. Chintan and Nilesh controlled the rallies and forced errors from their opponents. They kept the points short and maintained a steady lead, closing the set 11-2 without difficulty.

The second set saw more resistance from Firos and Daniel. They improved their positioning and stayed in rallies longer. The score remained closer in the early phase, with both pairs exchanging points.

However, Chintan and Nilesh maintained their composure. They continued to rely on accurate placement and smart shot selection. As the set progressed, they created a gap and moved ahead in the score. In the closing stages, Chintan and Nilesh converted key points to seal the set 11-7 and complete the match in straight games.

Firos Therath and Daniel David finished as runners-up after a solid run to the final but at the same time showed improvement in the second set but could not overcome the early deficit. But Chintan Sheth and Nilesh Desai’s performance once again showed why consistency and ability to manage key moments are important in pickleball, as it helped them secure the 100+ Combined Age Doubles title.
