After the match was over, fans witnessed some shocking scenes. Lesnar sat in the middle of the ring, taking off his boots and gloves, and was visibly emotional as he raised his arms towards the fans. His manager, Paul Heyman, then entered the ring, as he signalled a cross with his arms. He then went on to hug a crying Heyman in the ring, who raised his arms as the crowd cheered on.
