BMW has revealed the long-wheelbase version of the X5 and the all-electric iX5, adding more rear-seat space. Developed exclusively for China, the new models have been stretched to better suit buyers who spend more time in the second row. The longer wheelbase brings a roomier cabin without changing the overall character of the SUVs. Along with the extra space, BMW has updated the interior with new technology and comfort-focused features. As of now, these long-wheelbase models are not planned for markets outside China, including India.
