India will make their much-awaited return to Test cricket in the two-match series against Sri Lanka in August. The Shubman Gill-led side will land in the island nation in the first week of August. The two Tests are scheduled to be played in Galle and Colombo, starting August 15 and 23, respectively. India have struggled in the spin-friendly conditions over the past couple of years and the Sri Lankan spinners will pose a big threat to the visitors. Ahead of the squad announcement for the SL series, India have suffered two injury blows.
