India’s 16-year-old para cyclist Lisha Das is furious at the Cycling Federation of India (CFI) after the apex body refused accreditation for her coach and field-of-play access for her coach, Aditya Mehta. Lisha’s support staff included Aditya Mehta, technician K. Dattatraya and physician Dr Asha Shaikh, and while Dr Asha and Dattatraya were allowed to travel with Lisha, Mehta was left out, leaving Lisha furious.
