A prominent Russian Telegram channel with alleged ties to the country’s Air Force offered a different account, saying the Su-35 had been targeted by three Ukrainian aircraft and a Patriot air-defense system. According to that account, the Russian pilot survived, and two of the Ukrainian aircraft involved were F-16s. Neither side’s battlefield account has been independently verified.
