The first seven months of 2026 have been creatively diverse for the entertainment industry. The audience across India was spoilt for choice with Indian OTT platforms offering a plethora of stories; some rooted, some lavish. Now, in the second half of 2026, there’s more interesting content coming through sequels of popular shows. From Ananya Panday’s Call Me Bae season 2 to Dhindora’s next part, here are eight such titles that the audience can’t wait to watch.
Upcoming OTT Series In 2026
Indian OTT platforms, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, JioHotstar, and ZEE5, will be rolling out sequels to their popular flagship shows. Panchayat 5 on Amazon Prime Video to Lust Stories 3 on Netflix, the rest of 2026 has a lot to offer.
Call Me Bae season 2
Bae will be back to slay soon. Ananya Panday is returning to Amazon Prime Video later this year as Bella Choudhary. After the events of season one, Bae has found her voice as a journalist who is fearless, candid and confident about her opinions and beliefs. In the first season, she comes out of her cocoon and establishes her identity. The sequel takes her story forward.
Lust Stories 3
Lust Stories 3 is an anthology with four new chapters helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra, and Vishal Bhardwaj. According to Netflix’s website, the synopsis reads: Through four bite-sized yet emotionally resonant films, the anthology once again explores lust, love, relationships, and repressed desire, offering fresh perspectives on intimacy, longing, and human connection in all their complexities. The release date is yet to be announced.
Panchayat 5
The fourth season of Panchayat premiered in June 2025. It focused on the political tension and election atmosphere in Phulera. Soon after its release, the makers confirmed that the next part will be out in 2026. An official announcement on its date is awaited. Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, Faisal Malik, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, and the regular cast of the series will return.
Dhindora 2
Dhindora season 2 will arrive on Netflix soon. As per the official synopsis: India’s biggest digital creator, Bhuvan Bam, returns with his crazy family, and Titu Mama drags them all into a world of pride, panic, and poor planning. Will he emerge as a hero, or should you lower your expectations?
Farzi 2
Shahid Kapoor’s web series debut was much-discussed and loved. The Amazon Prime Video show Farzi unites the actor with Raj & DK. The second season brings back Shahid, Vijay Sethupathi and Raashii Khanna. Farzi 2 is scheduled to release in 2026. An official date announcement is yet to be made.
Rangbaaz 4
Mohit Raina is headlining the new season of ZEE5’s Hindi hinterland saga, Rangbaaz season 4. Directed by Ranjan Chandel, the show also stars Vijay Raaz, Arunoday Singh, Pawan Malhotra, Zoya Afroz and Rahul Dev.
Janaawar 2
Janaawar – The Beast Within, starring Bhuvan Arora, has been greenlit for the second season. It is a part of ZEE5’s 2026 slate that was announced recently. The makers are yet to disclose the release date.
1000 Babies 2
Malayalam actor Rahman and Bollywood star Neena Gupta starred in JioHotstar’s 1000 Babies. The multilingual show is getting its sequel, reportedly in the last quarter of 2026.
