An independent autopsy commissioned by the family of 18-year-old Nolan Wells has concluded that the cause and manner of his death are “undetermined” while the investigation continues. The preliminary findings were released on Wednesday by the family’s attorney, Ben Crump, during a news conference at the 117th NAACP National Convention. The autopsy was carried out by Dr Roger Mitchell, a board-certified forensic pathologist and chief medical examiner, following a request from Wells’ family.
