In the Chandranath Rath case involving Suvendu Adhikari’s PA, a fifth arrest has been made
Following inputs from the CBI, the agency, along with the Uttar Pradesh Police, arrested a man named Naveen Singh from Ballia in Uttar Pradesh under the Arms Act.
Preliminary investigation suggests that weapons recovered from Naveen were allegedly used by the shooters in the murder of Chandranath Rath.
The firearms seized from him have been sent for forensic examination.
Sources indicate that Naveen Singh’s name surfaced during the interrogation of Rajkumar, who is believed to be the mastermind of the conspiracy, leading to his arrest.
