According to the White House, the declassified intelligence shows that China obtained the personal data of around 220 million American voters during the 2020 election cycle, including names, addresses, phone numbers and party associations. The US says the breach affected at least 18 states and that intelligence agencies did not fully disclose the information to senior government officials at the time.
