New Delhi: On Friday morning, Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha was attending a Van Mahotsav plantation drive at the Ridge alongside Delhi minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, planting trees and speaking about the city’s green initiatives. Meanwhile, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs was preparing the order announcing Delhi’s New Commissioner. By the time the saplings had been watered, Golcha was no longer Delhi’s top cop.
