Democrats Accuse Trump of Delaying $4.7 Billion US Canada Bridge to Benefit Billionaire Donor

The publicly funded bridge, built to ease congestion and strengthen trade between the United States and Canada, was originally expected to open in early June. However, a planned ribbon-cutting ceremony was abruptly cancelled amid disagreements between US and Canadian officials. Canada announced on July 10 that the two sides had reached an agreement, with the bridge now scheduled to open on July 27.
