In fact, Spain is the only third team to play the World Cup final after winning the Euros. The first instance was by West Germany (1974), and the other was La Roja themselves in 2010 after being crowned champions of Europe in 2008. Infact, the 2010 summit clash was Spain’s only World Cup final appearance and the only instance of them winning the tournament too.
