The sources further claimed that the SIT was most likely to name Anil Mishra in their report, as they have found him responsible for most of the lapses. Mishra is the former trustee of the Ram Temple Trust. It has also been found out how housekeeping staff were involved in the donation counting process, while personnel hired through outsourcing agencies were recruited based on recommendations made by the Trust. It is still not clear whether Champat Rai, the former general secretary of the trust, will be given clean chit by the SIT. Notably, in the SIT’s preliminary report, there was no mention of Rai.
