Cyclosporiasis Intestinal Parasite Diarrhea Outbreak: Full List of Food to Avoid

US health officials are investigating whether a food item, possibly fresh produce, is behind a rise in cases of cyclosporiasis, a parasitic illness that can cause diarrhoea and other gastrointestinal symptoms. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that, as of 13 July, it had confirmed more than 1,600 cases of the illness and was working to verify more than 5,000 additional infections.
