“My family had fertile agricultural land in Himachal Pradesh, but it was acquired for the Pong Dam project. We were allotted land in Mohangarh, where there was nothing but sand. We worked for years to make the land productive. Now someone has fraudulently sold it using fake documents and an impersonator,” the veteran said, adding that he wants the case transferred to Himachal Pradesh because his age makes it difficult to attend court proceedings in Rajasthan.
