The Nissan Tekton has also performed well in Child Occupant Protection, with 45 out of 49 points. It scored 24 points in the dynamic crash test using child restraint systems (CRS). The SUV also earned a full 12 out of 12 points for CRS installation, which indicates that compatible child seats can be installed correctly and securely. For vehicle assessment, the Tekton received 9 out of 13 points, missing a few points. During testing, Bharat NCAP used the Joie i-Spin 360 i-Size child restraint system for both the 18-month-old and 3-year-old child dummies. Both seats were installed in the rear-facing position using ISOFIX anchor points and a support leg, with the setup offering maximum dynamic protection in frontal and side impact tests.
