According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the city recorded 428 incidents of tree and branch falls, including 111 in Mumbai city, 126 in the eastern suburbs and 191 in the western suburbs. Authorities also received 28 complaints of partial wall and house collapses, besides 24 incidents of short circuits, though no injuries were reported in those cases.
