Missiles and drones struck apartment blocks and other buildings during Monday’s attack, according to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv region’s military administration, while rescue teams searched damaged structures for residents. “The enemy is striking with ballistic missiles,” Tkachenko wrote on Telegram, as Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said air defences were operating and urged people to remain in shelters.
