Punjab Kings batter Shashank Singh and his father, retired IPS officer Shailesh Singh, were reportedly named in an FIR following accusations of violence and verbal abuse by their cook, Vipendra Singh Tomar. Tomar said he was mistreated after the family complained about the food he had prepared. He also claimed that after telling them he was about to quit, Shailesh Singh, Shashank Singh, and their driver took away his cell phone, made him keep working, and later assaulted him.
