“In view of the recommendations of the Justice Gauba Committee, we had formed a committee under the Director Technical Education to make its regulations and make a law. How will the coaching centre run? Some coaching centres are charging one lakh rupees, some are charging four lakh rupees. They are not getting quality education and their studies are being done arbitrarily and at dangerous locations…In view of the unfortunate incidents that have taken place in nearby states too, we have inspected the buildings of these nine hundred and twenty-four coaching centers in a month and have directed the corporation to make them a nodal agency and investigate it and based on this investigation, those who do not follow the standards will be sealed and given a notice and an audit will be conducted within a month…” Sood was quoted saying by ANI.
