The latest findings come after police allegedly uncovered that the first plan to kill Ketan was made for May 31 but did not succeed. After the May 31 plan failed, Siya and Chetan allegedly sat together on June 1 and prepared a fresh “foolproof” plan. As per police sources, the new plan was that Siya would again take Ketan to the fort on June 4 and this time push him off the cliff. However, this second plan also could not be executed. Police sources say one reason for this was that Siya and Ketan were supposed to travel to Bali on June 6, but family pressure and surrounding circumstances disrupted the sequence of events, and the June 4 plan too collapsed.
