In the fifth episode, the war between Laurie (Martha Kelly) and Alamo Brown (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) has escalated. The drug dealer Laurie and the strip club owner Alamo have been at odds since the overdose death of one of the dancers. The duo have had potshots back against one another, and Rue (Zendaya), who used to work for Laurie, has been caught in the middle. Additionally, she has become a DEA informant, supplying information on both sides.
